Justin and the Norwegian love

Watching my daily does of E News (which is broadcast here a day after) I was puzzled by this information, “The Nowergian government postpones midterm finals so students could attend the Justin Bieber concert. I decided to google the news just to make sure I heard right…. and there it was in my very face;

“If there’s one country that loves Justin Bieber, it’s Norway, as evidenced by a bunch of their schools moving their midterm finals to accommodate the star’s tour stop in their country!”

Time via Dlisted says that the five schools are 230 miles away from Oslo, so students would have to miss exams to drive to and from the concert. Norway’s education minister said that she’s not going to shoot down the schools’ decision:

“I am concerned that students should be concentrating when they take tests and midterms. The local schools have the responsibility to schedule the local midterms, and if they think there is any reason to change the dates, they have authority to do so. We’ve all been 14-years-old and know that interests can be intense.” ICYDK

Clearly, teachers in Europe are definitely WAY cooler than the teachers in Nigeria, I cant imagine teachers postponing exams to go see Wizkid or Davido in concert, actually to be in high school you propable are not even old enough to go to a concert, lol
